Blog and Updates

Wooh. End of first working week!

Wooh! I worked for a whole weeek! It was pretty fun. I might even miss it, though I'm not really at that point yet. Playing with children is fuuunn. But it srsly sucked that I was from like another city. The long busrides, the fact that I knew nobody, the fact that I had to leave earlier to catch my bus (which a lot of people couldn't understand, but srsly I only have a bus every half hour and it takes a whole hour to get home so I really don't like missing it.)

So yeah. The evaluation thing they filled in on my special 'internship-booklet' wasn't too positive but not too bad either. Meh. I didn't like the person who filled it in anyway because I had a feeling she didn't really like me either. Though everyone WAS mostly nice to me (IF they talked to me at all) I didn't really feel like anyone liked me. Well except for one person (even though she was like way older) who talked to me a lot. I totally appreciated that. Well yeah, everyone knew eachother from school and even the stagiairs knew eachother so I was pretty much the odd one out. Add that to my natural shy nature (though I don't think I was always like this, was I? I hate it ; ;) and you get a pretty silent Daisy. Though I did open my mouth when I had to, usually.

Ungh. Ah well it went fine for a first week. That's what counts.

I'm seriously tired. Tired. Exhausted. Tired tired tired.

nervous

EDIT: Working with children is amazing. VERY tiring but also... rewarding. In a way. However, everything would be just  teensy bit better if I actually felt like I was part of the working team. Its kindof hard to work with people who all know eachother. I'm a bit of an outsider. I guess. Living very far away. x--x" Ah well.
Tired. Just very tired. Still three days to go! wooh!

First day working  working  working tomorrow as a children's counsellor and I'm scared and nervous because the past few days preparing with the other people was AWKWARD and nobody knows me but they all know eachother and I'm the only one who lives faraway and they're all WTF IS THAT PERSON DOING HERE, Why HERE? (um well because its the only place with space left but I ain't saying that.) so it's awkward and I feel like I'm not supposed to be there which sucks. Plus I'm scared.

so scared that i cant be bothered with pressing the shift button anymore or the baskcpace so i just make typos all the time

Stressing out.

EDIT : I need to leave for the staff meeting in less than two hours and here I am eating instant noodles and stressing out. um. Yeah.

You would think vacation would be without stress, right? Wrong. I have a staff meeting today for my job (paid internship) as a children's counsellor (behold, I learned a new word!) next week and I am stressing out.  Why? Because I do not know any of these people. But I think they will be :
  • Much more better at this than me because I have zero experience.
  • Much more social than me because when I get shy I shut up.
  • Much older than me because somehow I'm not expecting a lot of stagairs. But hey, I could be wrong.
  • Nice to everyone with a big smile that could be either fake or genuine. I have no clue. Am I supposed to? Have a clue I mean.
  • Very knowledgeable (is that even a word?) about things and next week whereas I know nothing. Zero. Nada. Zilch. Except that I'm supposed to be there each morning at... Oh crap. WHEN WAS IT AGAIN?
  • Not nervous at all unlike some people sitting here.
So yeah. I'm making a big deal out of nothing. But that doesn't change the fact that I'm scared.

Oh. And my mom is making me move bookcases with her because she's redecorating or cleaning or w/e she's doing with the living room.

Bookcases are heavy, even without books. And creepy to move too, because I'm always like : Oh my god. If this thing falls over I'm DEAD. And I don't want to be, scared as I am for this afternoon.

And now I'm supposed to get rid of the dust in the bookcases. Um. I wish I was born allergic to dust. I'm scared of BIG BOOKCASES. Um. Weird for a book-loving person like me

On a brighter note : My sixteenth birthday is in exactly 19 days and I'm somewhat excited about it. Though I'm not having a party or anything. Heck I don't even know what I'm going to do on my birthday, since most people I know will be out on vacation . But I know I'll do something. Because I ain't spending it alone. Nuh-uh.

Alright. Here goes Daisy, ready for her fight with the evil bookcases!
